Images

Resize images

Set the actual width and height of an image file.

One image per job, up to 5 MiB, 8 megapixels and 4096 px per side; output up to 20 MiB. Static JPG, PNG and WebP only. Animations are not supported. EXIF orientation is applied; original EXIF metadata is not copied. The format must be supported by your browser. Images are neither uploaded nor saved; processing downloads software resources.

Options

The original format is kept. JPEG/WebP are re-encoded with loss (90% quality). With aspect ratio enabled, the other side is calculated and rounded to the nearest pixel.

What this tool does

Change the actual resolution of the downloaded image, preserving aspect ratio by default.

How to use it

  1. Load a static image within the limits.
  2. Set a reference width or height; choose aspect ratio and whether upscaling is allowed.
  3. Process and check the downloaded file dimensions.

Verifiable example

Input
800 × 600 image; output width 400 with aspect ratio enabled.
Expected result
400 × 300 pixels.

Limitations to review

  • Upscaling cannot recover missing detail. Preview CSS size is different from file resolution.
  • Up to 5 MiB, 8 megapixels and 4096 pixels per side. EXIF orientation is applied; transparency depends on format.
