View and edit PDF metadata

Read a PDF title, author, subject and other Info fields. Edit supported descriptive fields and download a copy without changing the original.

Local PDF: 5 MiB, 50 pages. Output up to 20 MiB. Editing may invalidate digital signatures. Encryption is not supported.

Reads descriptive Info fields; does not remove XMP, attachments or hidden data. Authorship is not changed automatically.

What this tool does

Review descriptive Info fields before sharing a document. This operation does not inspect every embedded item or remove hidden metadata.

How to use it

  1. Load the PDF and select Read metadata.
  2. Review title, author, subject and keywords; edit only what is needed.
  3. Apply, download and check the copy with an independent reader.

Expected result
The copy has the new title; no new authorship is assigned automatically.

Limitations to review

  • PDF 5 MiB/50 pages; editable fields up to 1,000 characters each.
  • Does not clean XMP, attachments or internal structures. Signatures may be invalidated; encrypted PDFs are unsupported.
