Add PDF watermark

Apply text or a PNG/JPEG image as a PDF watermark. Adjust opacity and position, preview a sample and download a locally processed copy.

Local PDF: 5 MiB, 50 pages. Output up to 20 MiB. Editing may invalidate digital signatures. Encryption is not supported.

Helvetica text (compatible Latin alphabet) or PNG/JPEG up to 5 MiB and 8 MP. This does not prevent removal.

What this tool does

Identify working copies with a visible mark. The mark is added to the content and can be removed by other editors.

How to use it

  1. Load the PDF and select pages.
  2. Enter text or load PNG/JPEG; adjust opacity, size and rotation.
  3. Review the sample before downloading and opening the PDF.

Verifiable example

Input
Text DRAFT, opacity 0.3, page 1.
Expected result
The watermark appears only on the first page.

Limitations to review

  • PDF 5 MiB/50 pages; PNG/JPEG mark 5 MiB/8 MP; output 20 MiB.
  • An image replaces the text. Text supports 1–100 compatible Latin characters. This does not prevent copying or guarantee resistance to removal.
