ViBytes Tools — Privacy policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026.

Controller and contact

The controller and operator of ViBytes Tools (vibytestools.com) is Matías Javier Villón Salazar, an individual. Declared address: Urdesa, Guayaquil, Ecuador. Telephone: +593 99 955 1600. General contact: contacto@vibytestools.com. Privacy and data protection rights: privacidad@vibytestools.com.

Inputs and results

The 27 tools process inputs in your browser. The application does not upload files, text, calculations or results or automatically save them. Downloading software engines creates network traffic, distinct from uploading your inputs. Resetting releases references but does not guarantee forensic erasure. Downloads and clipboard contents are controlled by your device and may persist elsewhere. Do not email sensitive information or files for support; describe the issue without private content.

Hosting and technical requests

Cloudflare Workers Static Assets has been selected to deliver the site. Requests can include IP addresses, requested paths, headers and connection information for delivery and security. Tool inputs are not placed in site URLs. Worker observability is disabled in the prepared configuration; this does not eliminate Cloudflare network/security processing. There is no processing backend, visitor database or user account system.

Cloudflare operates international infrastructure. Its privacy policy and DPA describe processing roles and safeguards; processing exclusively in Ecuador or absence of logs is not promised. Cloudflare processes technical requests as a service provider under its applicable service terms; its own purposes are described in its policy. Processing roles and international safeguards depend on the particular service and applicable law; we do not claim that an Ecuador-specific certification or adequacy decision exists. Provider policies do not replace this notice.

Purposes, grounds and retention

Local processing performs the operation you request. Site delivery needs technical traffic; support and rights requests involve the sender and message you provide. Necessary site delivery, proportionate security and answering requested support are based on legitimate interests (Ecuador LOPDP article 7(8)): providing a functioning service and responding to the user, limited to the data needed, without advertising profiles or reuse for unrelated purposes. You may object through the privacy contact. Statutory rights requests are handled to comply with legal obligations (article 7(2)); contractual necessity (article 7(5)) applies only where an actual contractual obligation exists, not merely because someone visits the site. Visiting is not consent to advertising or unrelated processing.

Inputs remain in memory while used; downloaded results are under your control. Theme preference lasts until site data is cleared. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages to a Google/Gmail mailbox; its private destination address is not disclosed. Our retention criterion for support correspondence is the time needed to resolve the request; on closure, only information needed for a documented legal obligation, rights handling or a specific dispute may be retained, with periodic necessity review and deletion when no longer needed. This is the operating policy, not a claim that any particular historical message has been deleted. Cloudflare and the mailbox provider have their own service/security retention and backup processes; no single account-specific numerical period has been verified and we do not promise a uniform deletion deadline or immediate removal from provider backups.

Cookies and storage

Site code installs no advertising or analytics cookies. A manual theme change stores only toolhub-theme=light|dark in localStorage; the initial system preference is not written. Inputs, identifiers and metrics are not stored there. Normal browser caching can retain site resources. Cloudflare may use technical security technologies depending on enabled services; the inventory is reviewed when services or their configuration change. No banner simulates consent to absent optional technologies.

Your rights

Email privacidad@vibytestools.com with the right requested and only the information needed to locate the request. Applicable rights include information, access, correction/update, erasure, objection, portability, suspension and other statutory rights, and withdrawing consent when it is the legal ground. Identity checks will be proportionate; full identification documents are not requested by default. Requests will be answered within applicable statutory deadlines. We cannot retrieve a remote copy of locally processed files. You may complain to Ecuador’s Superintendencia de Protección de Datos Personales, SPDP, without waiving other legal remedies. The site does not implement profiling or automated decisions about individuals.

Audience and changes

The audience is general, not specifically children. No birth dates or advertising profiles are requested. Representatives may contact the privacy address about minors; applicable safeguards remain required. External links open only when you choose and have their own policies. Analytics, AdSense, donations and optional cookies remain disabled; any introduction requires review, notice and consent where applicable. Material changes will be documented with actual version/effective dates. Absolute security is not guaranteed.

Free service and future funding

The tools are free and require no account. Advertising or voluntary contributions may fund the service in the future, but none are active. Any future integration requires updated information and consent where applicable, and does not authorize uploading tool inputs.
