QR code generator
Create a downloadable QR code from text or a URL.
Literal text, up to 1,000 UTF-8 bytes. Black-on-white PNG, error correction M and a four-module quiet zone. Requested size is adjusted to whole modules, with at least three pixels per module for readability. The encoded link is neither visited nor checked for safety; do not open unknown destinations. Content is neither sent nor saved.
What this tool does
Generate a local QR code PNG containing your text or URL, without shorteners or redirects.
How to use it
- Enter the content and choose a size within the limits.
- Generate the code and test it with a QR reader.
- Download the PNG and test reading it in its intended context.

Limitations to review
- Up to 1,000 UTF-8 bytes. Requested sizes 256–1024 are adjusted to whole modules and a quiet zone.
- A readable QR code does not establish safety. URLs are neither visited nor certified.
